What we collect
We collect account details, podcast and episode information, uploaded media, generated content, product usage, and billing identifiers needed to operate BestPodcast. When an authenticated visit is linked to an account, our hosting layer may also supply its registration IP address and two-letter country code for account security, abuse prevention, and internal operations. Payment card data is handled by our payment provider and is not stored on our servers.
Analytics
Google Analytics loads with analytics storage denied by default and may send limited, cookieless measurement signals. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may use analytics storage, and we also send the SaaS Control Center random first-party visitor and session identifiers, path-only page visits, a two-letter country code, broad device and acquisition categories, the referring hostname, and optional UTM source and campaign values. Anonymous visitor events exclude full referrer URLs, raw IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, fingerprints, precise location, podcast audio, transcripts, payment card data, and private generated content. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer; rejecting or resetting keeps Google Analytics in denied, cookieless mode and clears the local visitor identity.
How we use information
We use your information to provide transcription and content services, secure your account, measure product performance, support billing, prevent abuse, and improve the service. Private content is not published unless you explicitly change its visibility.
Retention and deletion
When you request deletion, we remove active records and queue related audio, transcripts, generated content, caches, and search records for deletion, subject to limited legal and security retention requirements.
